Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Yui's Spidernet ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Terp Temptation Co., Ltd. This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our website and services, and the choices you have associated with that data.
1. Information Collection and Use
We only collect what we need to rent you a vehicle and to run this website.
- Booking chat: the messages you write in the chat and the booking details you give there — your name, your phone or WhatsApp number, the vehicle, dates and times, how many people ride, pickup or delivery, your deposit choice and any notes you add.
- Your location (optional): only if you want delivery and choose to share it — as a Google Maps pin or, with the Send my location button, your current position. Nothing is sent unless you tap it.
- Google Sign-In (optional): your name, email address and profile picture, so you can see your bookings under My Bookings.
- Push notifications (optional): if you turn them on, we store the notification address your browser gives us, linked to your chat, so we can tell you when there is news about your booking.
- Usage Data: only if you agree to statistics cookies — how the website is used (see section 3).
2. Use of Data
We use the collected data for various purposes:
- To handle your booking and contact you about it
- To provide and maintain our website and guide
- To notify you about changes to our service
- To provide customer support
- To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our service
3. Cookies and Consent
We do not load any statistics or advertising script until you have agreed to it. On your first visit a banner asks; nothing runs before you answer. One answer covers the whole site. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link — at the bottom of the homepage and at the top of the chat. If you decline or withdraw, we remove the statistics and advertising cookies (_ga, _gid, _fbp, _fbc) from your browser. We also pass your choice on to Google (Google Consent Mode).
- Necessary (always on): your language choice, your cookie choice, your chat conversation, and — if you sign in — your login. These are stored in your own browser and are needed for the site to work.
- Statistics (only after you agree): Google Analytics 4, so we can see which pages and which bikes people actually use. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd.
- Advertising (only after you agree): Google AdSense and a travel affiliate script (emrldco.com), which pay for running this website. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. and Emerald.
- Meta Pixel (only after you agree): so we can see which of our Facebook and Instagram ads actually lead to a booking, and show our ads to people like you. It sets the cookies
_fbpand_fbc. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. If you decline, it never loads.
4. Services We Use
Some parts of the site only work because another company does the work. Here is who, and what they see:
- Anthropic (Anthropic PBC, USA) runs the chat assistant. What you type in the chat — including your name, phone number and a shared location — is sent there so it can answer. Do not put anything in the chat that you would not want processed outside the EU.
- Netlify and Neon host the website and the database, including your chat, your booking and the contact details you gave for it. To deliver the pages, the hosting also processes technical data such as your IP address.
- Google Sign-In is optional. Google's sign-in script is only loaded when you open the sign-in area. If you use it, Google gives us your name, email address and profile picture. You can book without an account.
- WhatsApp or Messenger: when you tap the green WhatsApp button (or the Messenger button) after booking, your own app opens with the booking text. What you send there goes through WhatsApp or Messenger (Meta) under their own terms.
- Push notifications are delivered by your own browser's service (Apple or Google) and only if you turn them on.
- Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) receives, only if you agreed to advertising cookies, that a booking was paid and the amount — sent from our server so the number is not lost to ad blockers. It is linked to you through the two cookies above, your IP address and your browser identification. We never send Meta your name, phone number or email address.
5. How Long We Keep Things
We keep your chat and booking details as long as needed for the rental and for our legal obligations (such as bookkeeping). You can ask us to delete your data at any time via the Data Deletion page.
6. Data Protection & Security
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data.
7. Data Deletion and User Rights
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us at any time. For instructions on how to delete your data, please visit our Data Deletion Instructions page or contact us directly.
